Residential Feng Shui

What is Feng Shui ?

Are you presently happy with all the aspects of your life?

Take a moment to evaluate your living space. What areas within this space do you tend to gravitate more towards, and which areas do you tend to avoid? Sometimes we are so busy that we function ‘on automatic ‘ throughout our daily lives not always in awareness of our patterns and behaviours within our habitual spaces.

How many times have you routinely driven the same route but can t recall part of the journey?

There are many individuals who need tangible visual evidence in support of any theoretical hypotheses, and then there are those who are open and receptive to the possibility of evidence we cannot see.

When we turn on a radio, we cannot see the actual frequencies that produce the sound from the box, but we know they are present. Similarly, when we use wireless wifi, and cell phones to communicate.

You have a personal trigram, gleaned from your year of birth, but so too, does your apartment, workspace, house, or building.

Feng Shui can assist us in adapting our living spaces, affecting our behaviour patterns within them, to optimise beneficial Ch that resonates and vibrates in sync with our own.

Feng Shui, presents us with an opportunity to evaluate and address the balance of the important aspects of our lives life - family, relationships, health, finance, career, life purpose and contribution. If just one of these aspects is not harmonious, it can affect and ‘shadow’ all of the others.

Taking the time to evaluate life aspects is not always a priority for some, nor is it an easy task at times, but for those who do, transformation then becomes possible.

If we try and fail, then we can say, we tried, it didn’t work and look at other pathways.

If we do not try at all, then we will never know if we may have succeeded, we remain closed to possibilities and everything stays the same whatever that is, good or not so good.

Feng Shui, is an ancient Chinese discipline devoted to achieving harmony. When all aspects of our lives are harmonious, we thrive, and can enjoy and live our best life, functioning at optimum levels.

The discipline centers on the types of chi energies in our environment, and their movement. Essentially, we can manipulate chi in accumulating and optimising the beneficial chi energies, and subdue the less helpful. According to Feng Shui, each life aspect and part of the body is related to a specific trigram of your living space.

Blocked chi in Kan, may possibly manifest in urinary tract infections, impotence, or in the possibility of inabilty to conceive. Blocked Chi in Li may manifest in problems with the heart or circulation problems.

Every individual and premises is unique, so the technique of Feng Shui, is not a ‘one fits all’ solution in congruence with Chinese ancient teachings. In a nutshell, Destiny, Karma, Luck, Feng Shui and Education control our lives and everybody’s Feng Shui is rooted in one’s destiny and karma from the time of their birth, and within the subsequent changes which occur.

Underpinning the Feng Shui branch of Chinese Metaphysics, is the philosophy of a three way process continuously operating in the universe - that is Earth(Di) Man(Ren) and Heaven(Tian). Feng Shui then, is man manipulating the chi of his environment(Earth) and his destiny -( Heaven Luck).- charting a harmonious course through the path of life.

When we decide on a specific house to live in, we are embracing the unique Feng Shui the property can manifest. When we renovate, extend, decorate or move the contents around within in, we are activating possible outcomes in our lives and de-activating others.

A colleague constructed a detached two storey garage with an office space on the first floor, on the land within 50 metres of their home. Within 18 months the partner had to deal with the onset of a malignant tumour, and my client suffered an aneurysm and luckily survived. For years prior to this they had lived very happily on the land without health issues. It is possible they inadvertently activated the malevolent energies of Star 5 - (Lien-Chen) which has chaotic energy, manifesting in illnesses when in the sitting position (Mountain), and financial losses, lawsuits, in the facing (Water) according to the classic writings on Xuan Kong Fei Zing (Flying Star Feng Shui)

A friend had issues with a child being bullied and isolated and with difficulty in finding authentic friends following a change of bedrooms in their home.

When looking closely at the child’s astrological birth date, It turned out that this was not a compatible area energetically for the child, combined with that, the area itself did not have a good Mountain star indicating lesser quality chi impacting relationships. The child was relocated to the previous bedroom (which had been compatible energetically) and subsequent to the relationships area being vitalised in the space, the bullying subsided, the child thrived again and found whole new group of friends.

When we address the relationships area of our living spaces this can impact all the other aspects of our lives.
